The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college is expected to perform the following functions :
Objective :
The prime aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the Institution.
Functions :
- Development and application of Quality benchmarks/parameters in academic and administrative activities of the College.
- Designing and implementing Annual Plans for institution level activities for quality enhancement.
- Dissemination of information on Quality Aspects.
- To organize Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and promotion of Quality circles.
- Documentation of the various programs/activities leading to the quality improvement.
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters.
- Arrange for feedback responses from students for quality related institutional processes.
- Retrieval of information on various quality parameters of higher education and best practices followed by other institution.
- Participation in the creation of a learner-centric environment conductive for quality education.
- Act as a nodal unit of the institution for augmenting quality related activities.
Strategies :
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
- Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching, learning and evaluation.
- Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure.
